Since 1986, Galleri Faurschou has assisted museums and private collectors throughout Europe and the United States in locating highly specific and often difficult-to-obtain works of art. With a wide network of contacts in the international community and a reputation for expertise and discretion, Galleri Faurschou has assisted numerous clients seeking top-quality works from the late nineteenth century through the present by Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch, Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter, Bruce Nauman, Sigmar Polke, Sam Francis, Asger Jorn, Per Kirkeby, and others. Galleri Faurschou also represents new and emerging artists, regularly exhibiting their work in a space conveniently located just off Kongens Nytorv in central Copenhagen. Galleri Faurschou was among the first in Scandinavia to show Mark Tansey, Bruce Nauman, and Gerhard Richter. Noteworthy solo and group exhibitions over the last decade have included Edvard Munch, Shirin Neshat, Sam Francis, Robert Rauschenberg, Mark Quinn, Michael Bevilacqua, Tracey Moffatt, Nan Goldin, Wim Delvoye, and Janine Antoni. The gallery is proud to represent prominent Scandinavian artists Michael Kvium, Christian Lemmerz, Bjarne Melgaard, and Nina Sten-Knudsen.
