Among the broad range of sizes and styles of art exhibited and offered through Art Center Gooilust are paintings in oil, acrylic and mixed media as well as ceramics and sculptures in various materials like bronze, glass, stone and metal. Gallery exhibits vary five times per year. Openings events present broad range of top artists and new paintings of the gifted house artist Beatrice McSorley and an impressionable collection of international artists. Workshops over style, technique and development of inner artistic potential are available in the summer months. Art Center Gooilust is located 's-Graveland/Kortenhoef a renowned Dutch artist village 30 minutes outside Amsterdam and Utrecht. The art center overlooks the botanical park Gooilust, which connects to several other nature reserves in the immediate area. Beyond the colorful compositions and impassioned sculpture; the gallery windows treat the eye to pastoral scenes as in the Old Dutch masterpieces of grazing farm animals and spirited stallions.
